Who this covers
These terms apply to dean-da-dev.co.uk and to project work carried out by Dean Burt, trading as Dean Da Dev, a UK-based sole trader (Stratford, London E15).
The free tools
The calculators, generators, converters, and formatters on this site are provided free of charge, as-is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose. They are intended as planning aids, not professional, legal, or financial advice.
Project work
A discovery call is free and no-obligation. Commissioned work (websites, apps, AI tools, and automation) is quoted at a fixed price agreed in writing before any work begins, based on the scope discussed. Changes to that scope may affect the price and timeline, and will be agreed before extra work starts.
Payment
Payment terms (typically a deposit before work begins and a final payment before launch or handover) are confirmed for each project individually before work starts. Specific schedules are set out in the project quote or agreement, not on this page.
Ownership
Once a project is paid for in full, the resulting code, design, and any accounts created for it belong to the client. Until final payment is made, ownership remains with Dean Da Dev.
Liability
Dean Da Dev takes reasonable care in every build but cannot guarantee specific business outcomes (such as traffic, enquiries, or sales) from a website, app, or tool, since those depend on many factors outside development quality alone.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time to reflect how the business operates. The version on this page is always the current one.
